I’m Charlie Fernandez, also known as Mag.
I'm an illustrator based in New York City. My work is all about bringing vibrant color and energy into everyday life.
I specialize in visual development and illustration, with over a decade of experience. Since the age of 13, I’ve completed more than 1,000 freelance projects, ranging from private commissions to product illustration. I pride myself on my flexibility and quick turnaround times.
I’m also the owner of Magpie Madness LLC, a business I started as a teenager. Through it, I’ve had the opportunity to travel and share my work at brick-and-mortar shops, online platforms, and conventions across the country. Some of the highlights include Anime NYC, New York Comic Con, Anime Expo, Otakon, and Katsucon, among many others. I also love designing plush, apparel, and accessories that bring a little extra joy to people’s lives.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at the gym, exploring New York City’s food scene, or visiting museums.
